The meeting of the Karnali State Assembly has passed a resolution regarding the formation of the amendment committee of the Karnali State Assembly Rules, 2079.

Speaker Nanda Gurung presented the proposal in the meeting on Sunday as it was necessary to amend the ‘Karnali Pradesh Sabha Rules 2079’ in a timely manner. Provincial Assembly member Hikmat Bahadur Bista presented the proposal in the meeting along with the list of members in the said committee.

Member Bishta presented a proposal in the meeting that Kalyani Khadka Tekraj Pachai Devendra Bahadur Shahi, Purna Bahadur Khatri, Mahendra KC, Ransingh Pariyar, Vinod Kumar Shah, Santoshi Shahi, Hikmat Bahadur Bishta should be in the committee to complete the work within three months.

With the support of the members of the Provincial Assembly, Speaker Gurung announced that the proposal was unanimously approved by the Assembly. The next meeting of the state assembly will be held on July 16 at 3 pm.
