Nepal Oil Corporation is going to build a fuel storage house in Surkhet of Karnali province. In order to facilitate the supply of fuel in Karnali province, a storage house is going to be constructed.
Since there is no storage house for diesel and petrol in Surkhet, it is planned to build a storage house targeting Karnali province. Corporation spokesperson Manoj Kumar Thakur informed that government land is being sought for the construction of storage houses in two places.
He said, “We are going to build a storage house to facilitate the supply of fuel. As soon as we get the land, we will proceed with the construction of the storage house.”
As there is no storage house for diesel and petrol in Surkhet, it is being managed by taking it in tankers from Nepalgunj, as the demand for fuel is increasing, a storage house will be built to facilitate the supply system throughout the Karnali province. After acquiring the land, the construction of the storage house will be carried out in the second phase, according to the corporation.
