Along with Navraj KC’s ‘Sunya Ko Mulya’, Vivek Ojha’s novel ‘Aaithan’, Renuka Jisi’s story collection ‘Sanes’ have been awarded the Yashasvi Award.
In the three-day literature festival ‘Surya Nepal Kathmandu-Kaling Literature Festival’, works of 10 different genres including narrative and non-narrative were awarded.
Other works to be honored include ‘Bhashako Bakpatra’ for poetry, ‘Ms. Parijat’ by Govind Giri Prerna for biography, ‘Chhamchhamko chhamchmi’ written by Anuradha in the children’s literature category, ‘Amrita Pritam’s selected poems’ translated by Reema KC for translation and ‘Raithane Chadbad and Khanpaan’ by Narayan Ghimire in the food and medicine category.
Similarly, the award was given to English language memoir Lakpa Dendi Sherpa ‘Himalayan Maverick’ and English poetry collection ‘Minutos Ya Merit’ by Sushant Thapa.
