A woman from Dhangadhi has died after being electrocuted in a field for wild animals. District Police Office Police Inspector Santosh Basyal informed that 32-year-old Manju Kunwar, a resident of Dhangadhi 3, died.
She was electrocuted at around 11 o’clock on Monday night near the holding center located in Dhangadhi sub-metropolitan city-3.
Police Inspector Basyal said that Kunwar, who was seriously injured due to electrocution, was taken to Maya Metro Hospital for treatment and was declared dead by the doctor.
To protect the rice crop from wild animals, 48-year-old local Jangalia Choudhary applied electricity to the edge of the field. According to the police, Manju Kunwar died due to the same current. The police have arrested Janglia Chaudhary who was holding an electric shock. According to the police, Chaudhary gave a statement that he left the electricity to protect the paddy crop from wild animals.
